Dr. Corey Knox is an education researcher and the Broader Impacts Coordinator at the University of Arizona, College of Education. She earned her Ph.D. from the UA-College of Education's Teaching, Learning, and Sociocultural Studies Department in 2018. Dr. Knox has over 20 years of experience conducting community-based research and developing programs related to social justice, youth, women, and science and environmental topics. Her doctoral research in science and environmental education illuminated important lessons related to the ways the community members, teachers, and scientists view and frame school-based learning in science and social studies curricula related to environmental issues.
