Tohono O'Odham Cultural Center and Museum

The Tohono O'odham Cultural Center and Museum is an excellent model of tribal communities creating and maintaining their own museums and conservation areas to ensure appropriate handling and respect of cultural artifacts. Even more so, these artifacts are in the rightful hands of the people they come from. This space exists for both tribal and general community population members to gain an insight to the history and contemporary issues involving the Tohono O'odham people, their land, and their culture.
