Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research

The Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research, located at the University of Arizona, has a unique history as it is one of the oldest dendrochronology laboratories and helped developed similar dendrochronology labs in multiple countries. Tree-ring analysis place a vital role in archaeology as the study of tree rings found at ruins gives a date time frame, can inform or weather patterns, and can even go as far as indicated trade routes from the tree species. The Laboratory of Tree-Ring research continues to excel in research analysis and provide teachings to future researchers.
